Tech News of the Week in India: Following the intervention of an Indian Union Minister, Google has reinstated ten applications developed by Indian developers that were banned earlier this month for non-compliance. At the MWC 2024, Samsung also unveiled its first smart ring.

     This week, Alphabet's Gemini AI went rogue, and Google pulled many applications developed by Indian developers from the PlayStore. These stories have put the firm in the news multiple times. Shaadi.com, Bharat Matrimony, Unacademy, and other applications developed by more than ten Indian developers were among the apps that Google first deleted. However, Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, intervened and the majority of these apps were added back to the Google Play Store.
